I am calling this sterling, NOT verified. I have no way of testing. The front is not hammered, the back is. I can see brass under the engravings. Engravings: in the four corners there is a cross design in a 'circle'. Then engraved: Fourth Section. Then six names: John McNiece, Dick O'Dell, Rocky Bowers, Tommy Thompson, Steve Reasoner, and Don Geyer. I haven't been able to find any info on this flask. Maybe someone will know?? Condition, one dent on top left, the bottom left appears to have been repaired at some point. Also a indention across the first name. Other small scratches and dents overall. I find no markings other than what is engraved. Measures 6 1/2" high with lids, 3 1/2" wide, 1" thick. Don't know if this has any historical significance, maybe someone will know.
