    Description

Stylish Art Deco Sterling Silver Half Pint Hip Flask Never Monogrammed
Presented is a stylish vintage sterling silver hip flask, by International. This
flask dates to around the 1920s-1930s, and is made very much in the Art Deco
style of the time to which it dates. The front of the flask is finely engraved
with panels of vertical pinstripe decoration, for a very sophisticated look.
There is a small rectangular cartouche which has never been monogrammed. Good
sturdy threaded lid, attached with a hinged arm so it can't be lost. The flask
has a generous capacity of half a pint, or 8 fluid ounces/237 milliliters.
The flask is stamped on the underside with the maker's mark for International
as well as sterling, a product number 852, and the capacity of ½ a pint.
This flask is in excellent overall condition. There is a small ding on one
side, the righthand side as the flask faces you, but the front, back, and rest
of the sides are great. The flask has been checked for water-tightness and has
no leaks, and the cork in the inside of the lid is clean and in good shape,
likely having been replaced from the original cork when the flask was made. We
do recommend cleaning the inside very thoroughly before use. No splits, no major
dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The flask measures about 6 inches to the top/lid of the flask, or about 5 ¼
inches to the shoulder, and 4 3/8 inches wide.
The flask weighs 233 grams or 8.2 regular ounces.
