Meet  Penelope,
She a special find. The guy we got her from said she came with the house when he bought it. He said he put her in his shed outside  but every morning somehow she is at his bedroom door when he gets up. She  passed away  when she was 16 years old from  being anorexic.   She started dieting when she was ten years old because she was chubby and got picked on at school a lot.  She would binge then make herself throw up. She did this for a few years but the throwing up took it's toll on her body so she decided to stop eating then she wouldn't have to throw up. She was bullied at school and this made her have a low self esteem. Although she was already beautiful she felt so ugly and alone. When she started loosing weight she wore baggy clothes so no one noticed.  She ate a little bit here and there when someone was watching  but mostly moved her food around on her plate and pretended to eat.  Penelope now needs a good, loving, understanding home. She is a sweet girl and I've been working with her on her self esteem and she is feeling better. I even have heard her humming a few times and I think she is happier than she use to be. She likes sitting in my rocking chair and I've seen her rocking back and forth on her own. She loves flowers of all kinds and at times I've smelled flowers when I don't have any.  She loves chocolate cake as well. She regrets not getting help for her eating disorder. She told me she was just so scared and felt a lone and didn't know what to do. She talked about wanting to help other girls who have an eating disorder and be their friend so they don't feel so alone. Penelope opens and shuts my doors and turns off my lights sometimes. She communicates through my spirit board, pendulum, EVP, making noises , feelings. She is waiting for her new home, she is waiting for YOU!!
The doll itself is 16" high and from The Collectors Choice . She is so beautiful and has long, blond, curly hair and big blue eyes that seem to follow you. She is wearing a pink dress with white lacy trim and has a matching bow in her hair. She also has bloomers, socks and shoes.
