CIRCULAR CRYSTAL ANTIQUE DECANTER w/ STERLING SILVER & CRYSTAL STOPPER c.1900

Description

Presented for sale is a family antique heirloom of ours -- a 6-7/8" tall circular crystal brandy decanter etched in an old sailing motif and topped with a 5-1/4" tall crystal stopper with a silver Spanish G
aleón weighing 7 ounces (i.e. the stopper).
Combined weight is 1 lb 11.5 ounces.
The sails of the
galeón include threads of silver to represent the ropes of the sails.
This antique could be older than our estimated circa 1900, but it has been in our family since at least then, which is about the time my grandparents married (so it may have been a wedding gift to them, but I never had the chance to ask them.).
I am 71 and it is time to let someone new enjoy this treasure.
