Beautiful Cut Etched Glass Bottle W/ Sterling Silver Overlay Design 1896 

Description

This auction is for a beautiful vintage/antique cut etched clear glass bottle with beautiful sterling silver art nouveau overlay design plus stopper as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. I really do not know too much about this piece except that it is absolutely beautiful and in very fine condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The silver overlay design is also in very fine condition. The main part of the sterling silver overlay design on the bottle has what looks like someone’s initials which are hard to make out. Also the top of the stopper is marked 1896 as shown. This is all part of the overlay design. The bottom of the glass bottle portion is marked with the number 30 which I have seen on very old pieces of Baccarat and other fine pieces of crystal glass. There is a very small area near the bottom of the glass bottle on the silver overlay portion that is marked with a number and the letter C. I believe the number is 4707? and I am not quite sure what this means. I believe the C means it is sterling silver or at least 900 out of 1000 parts silver. The bottle with stopper measures just over 4 1/4 inches tall by a little over 3 1/4 inches widest. It is a beautiful piece of glass art that would look great in anyone’s collection. The shipping amount listed on this auction is only an estimate and the actual amount may be higher or lower than what is listed based on the size of the package and where you live.  I don't prebox and weigh the items ahead of time.  Also I charge a handling fee for bubble wrap and peanuts, etc. and it also covers insurance depending on how much is needed and this is reflected in your shipping cost on the invoice.  Please invoice within two days of being received.
