19th century, Art Nouveau Gebruder Deyhle, found in Schwabisch Gmund in 1820, Germany. Company was found by Christian and Gottlieb Karl Deyhle was one of oldest and largest silverware factories in Gmund.
This gorgeous wine decanter is finished in cut glass with etched floral decorations, pure silver decor features its handle, elongated neck, frame and a figural lid with sitting Bacchus holding grapes, lid gold-plated underside. hallmarked by producer as seen on photos and silver essayer stamped. A crescent, a crown, 800, a lion markings.
condition: pristine condition without any chips or cracks or restorations. A beautiful decanter which could hardly be found nowadays.
