This mirror was purchased on a trip several years back to Colonial Williamsburg , Virginia. We headed to the very active area to visit the very active Peyton Randolf House and Wren Building. As always, when visiting paranormal hot spots, we check local thrift store, antique shops and local yard sales. I would like to say that upon entering an antique shop on Richmond road, I found the mirror, but rather the mirror called me directly to its location. For some reason as I walked in, nothing struck my interest until I went directly to a glass case and knew I had to have it. Upon picking it up, chills went down my spine, I got goosebumps and just felt it had to be mine. We actually had to run to get cash, because they were unable to take debit cards that day, but had to have it. We were told, that many of the items in the case were rare and part of the areas history.
Upon bringing it home, we did investigations with the mirror. That strong feeling of belonging and chills everytime I held it, was weird. Our equipment fluctuated from small spikes to high on the EMF and Mel meter. When we did a live stream investigation, one of our viewers said they had seen a face in the mirror as we held it towards the camera, facing away from any humans in the room. Meaning it wasnt us, but whomever stays within.Upon reviewing we did see an image in the glass. A lot of orbs in photos and our live stream as well as hearing knocks on command when we ask for a response. When my husband had asked who was with us, we got the response " I'm here" through the spirit box. It was a woman and then we heard " Hello ". Whomever she is, she makes herself known and although the men in my home dont seem to feel the same chills when touching it, whomever SHE is that came along with the mirror, she definitely lets you know she's here.
I havent felt threatened or anything malicious, but rather a sense of belonging and even now, debating whether I want to let her go. The craftsmanship is beautiful, it is heavily made, just under a pound in weight, maybe silver, and although worn and needs a cleaning, she is a beauty and needs to go somewhere where she will be admired and held in respect.
I do start my bidding at just above the cost of what I paid for my items, as to cover the costs of selling. I dont believe in hiking them up, the bidding is your decision and rehoming the items is my goal.
Our family has been doing paranormal investigations for over 12 years
and collecting objects with attachments to them, we are slowly running out of safe space for them
. From Eastern State Prison, Salem Ma, Gettysburgh Pa plus many more locations. We’ve collected many haunted items and at this point although I personally feel an attachment to them, we need to make room for some of our newer acquisitions. I’ll hope they are going to a good new home with someone who will treat them with the respect they deserve.
so keep an eye out for more items to come.
