Antique MacIntyre Porcelain Speckled Bird's Egg Perfume Scent Bottle

Description: Antique/Rare porcelain novelty scent bottle in the form of a speckled bird's egg. This scent bottle measures approximately 6.3 cm in length and has the "Rd No. 20772" printed on the base. This mark is registered to James MacIntyre & Co. Burslem, England. The cork lined silver screw top lid has the silversmith mark "CS FS" for Cornelius Saunders and Francis Shepherd. This bottle will date approx. 1885.
This rare novelty scent bottle is offered in very good condition with no chips or cracks and has only light clean crazing which is visible only with magnification (evident in the photos). There is no wear to the painted decoration. The silver lid fits firmly and securely and has a few dents mentioned only for complete accuracy.
