ANTIQ SHIEBLER STERLING SILVER PERFUME SCENT BOTTLE VIAL REPOUSSE FLASK EX-COND

Description

This is a gorgeous and rare antique STERLING SILVER PERFUME or SCENT BOTTLE, FLASK or vial by the superb silversmith, William SHIEBLER, featuring shells and sea life. Both the front and reverses side of the perfume bottle are ornately designed with a RAISED SEA SHELLS and a fabulous CRAB. The body of the perfume bottle measures 3 3/4" long and 3/4" wide at its broadest point. With the original chatelaine it extends to 4 7/8". The bottle is in excellent estate condition; I see no defects of any kind. It weighs 28 grams. The top unscrews perfectly. It is clearly marked "Sterling" on the bottom of the reverse side with the Shiebler logo. Please excuse any reflections in the photos, and I have taken quite a few of these spectacular find!
