2x Sealed Potentiometers
Sale is for a pack of two (2) green, single-gang, sealed potentiometers. The model number of this type/size of green dual-gang pot is often given as RK097N, which covers all impedances - please select the impedance that you want from the drop-down list! The G-prefix in A100K indicates linear taper - this means that if you're 50% of the way through the turning arc of the pot, 50% of the total resistance will be present between pins 1 and 2, and 50% of the total resistance will be present between pins 2 and 3.
Each pot includes one washer and one nut - see pictures.
These potentiometers are
sealed
, which means that no dust or other foreign material can get into the mechanism to cause noise or breakage. While open-type potentiometers can be rated for hundreds of thousands of turns or more, chances are dirt/dust/grime will get in and kill the pot long before all of those turns can be performed. Sealed pots don't become clogged, dirty, gritty, or noisy over their lifetimes, so that the performance that you'll get years from now is the same as when you first install them.
These potentiometers work well in a variety of applications, including amplifiers, effects (rackmount, stompbox etc.), synthesizers/keyboards, appliances, automobiles, and more.
