Mexican libertad gold proof coins are exotic, rare, yet overlooked by many collectors due to their incredibly limited mintage and erratic releasing schedule. Every year since 2005, Banco de México (with the support of the Casa de Moneda , i.e. the Mexican Mint House) would issue a 5-coin gold proof set in a pretty wood box that contains 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz and 1/20oz coins. The 1oz (denoted as "1 ONZA" on the obverse) coins have seen some of the rarest mintage in modern coins, especially considering they are designed to compete with the popular American Eagle and the Canadian Maple Leaf. The highlight would be the 2020 "key date" - only 250 sets would be possible where there are only 250 of each coin minted.  It is hard to estimate how many of these sets will be possible. Some will seek the one ounce coint, others the 1/4 oz and very quickly you see how hard it will be to find and put together a set. Then if you consider the matching holders, green label, deep cameo and first strike - nearly impossible to make this set.
