This Beautiful Decanter has a Strong Art Nouveau Style Handle and Lid, and a Fine Deeply Cut Crystal Swirl Design Body – A Fine Armorial Crest and Motto “Per Mare, Per Terras” of the MacDonald Family is Engraved on the Front of the Collar
The Crystal Decanter Measures 8 Inches (20.5 cms) Tall and Has an Intricate Cut Star Burst Design on the Bottom
The Full Hallmarks are Stamped on the Collar and the Correct Partial Hallmarks appear on the Underside of the Lid – The Hallmarks are “J.G & S” for John Grinsell and Sons, the Lion Passant Guarantee Mark for English Sterling Silver, the Gothic Date Letter “S” for 1892 and the Anchor Town Mark for Birmingham
The Decanter is in excellent condition with no chips or damage. The bottom of the base has some minor scratches consistent with its age and usage
