Description
Difficult to Find the Words to describe this absolutely Stunning piece of silver and glass that was created by one of England's Greatest Silversmith Artists, HENRY WILLIAM DEE.This is a Double Vinaigrette with one side for smelting salts and the other for perfume.
The condition is incredible with no dents or scratches and is fully functional. The craftsmanship is exceptional and the item has so many bells and whistles, including various compartments top and bottom. The item separates in the center in order to stand upon a tanle and was designed for travel.
All expected and proper markings (LONDON MARKED). Etched glass is perfect. Even the screws have no rough edges, which is often the case from overtightening and sloppy handling. For accuracy, if there was any criticism, it might show the slightest of gilding rub off at the ends from normal handling, but it does not detract whatsoever.
Simply a Show Piece worthy of a World Class collection. DEE'S items have been fetching in the thousands and even tens of thousands over the last few years. We have had this piece so quite some time and our purchase price permits us to offer you a wonderful opportunity at a Great price.
